Maybe they are in Australia, but apparently not here in America. Maybe we need to export some then. ;) I'm joking. These types of sugar gliders are domesticated and are not endangered. Just saying. Anyone who is thinking about getting a glider, does, need to read up about it and study about them before buying. They can be hard to keep, but with some TLC, they're awesome creatures and very neat pets (since they are domesticated in America and are breeded and not endangered) I would suggest buying from a private breeder, as larger companies, not saying who exactly, cross-breed with the same family of gliders which causes medical problems. Need more info, google it, leave me a message, or email me at regalblackrose[at]hotmail[dot]com.

By the way, my husband and I are breeders, and have not sold any to anyone - yet. Mainly because I can't seem to part with them. They're so gosh darn cute!!

they're an exotic pet from Australia. If you google Sugar Glider breeder and where you live, you can find people who sell them in your area but I STRONGLY suggest reading up and researching them before purchasing a pair. :)

... Eh? They're really not a pet, they're an endangered animal and should be left in the wild at all cost *face-palm*... I'm an Aussie and trust me, these are not pets

No, just hard to take care of and can be expensive. Some people consider them discusting too because you can't litter train them. So they go when they need to go. Including on your arm or shirt.

Exactly! I don't get how some people have such issues with it. It's not like it's not something we do too. lol
